How long will the LHSAA basketball tournament be in Lake Charles?

I'm hoping it will be moved back to Lafayette soon.

I think Lafayette is perfect location for all parts of Louisiana.

The new Rapides Coliseum in Alec just inked the Girls Tourney the next 2 years. If it goes well I'm sure the Boys Tourney will be an option there as well. Just had a 24 mil renovation. It looks nice!

Lafayette was Awsome but plz Lawd let it go to Alex!!! No traffic or crazy Laffy drivers would be worth the trip

They had a request for proposals back in February and were supposed to announce at the June meeting but I see nothing on the website about the announcement.

Will be in Lake Charles the next 2 years. Cajundome officials are the reason it's not there.

For all the bad driving and traffic you mention, Lafayette has been the best overall host. More accommodations, more eating options, and waaaaaaaay more walk in fans there just to watch.

You people are just stupid.
But in terms of a better place for a statewide playoff, Lafayette is more centrally located and is better suited to accommodate people needing hotels and with food options than Lake Charles. Alexandria would actually be more central but they do not have quite as much hospitality options as Lafayette.

Louisiana is a fun-filled, shite hole. You baws crack me up trying to compare the shite holes in the state. Jeez, if it's a city in Louisiana, it's probably a shite hole. Nola, BR, Shreveport, Laffy, LC...on and on.

Texas has their crap together, in terms of how to run a state. Still filled with pretentious rednecks, though.
