It was a 21-3 game in the 3rd when Coach O, took Guice and Etling out of the game. He had to put Etling back in when the score was 28-26.

They also dropped a wide open touchdown pass. Maybe the biggest gimme TD of the year. I think LSU still wins but it would have gone down to the wire.

Hawaii fans really wanted him as he's an alum, but of course the athletic department didn't have the money to hire him.

He couldn't even get a coordinator job; hired by Barbara Burke at Eastern Illy to be the head coach, and then he showed his stuff with 2 quick moves up.
There aren't that many "bigger" jobs (a lot of fans may think their school is a bigger job), and I can't recall Syracuse losing a coach to another program. They have had good teams over the years.
