I talked to a coach who said he thought they could go all the way. True? Also, where exactly do they play their games I've never been but I think I might tonight?

They play tonight, my team plays them. Apparently they haven't faced anyone yet so we'll see tonight.

I'm pretty sure he is a freshman. The OTL article about Miles referenced him scoring a few touchdowns for them this season.

ETA: U-High has been on the rise ever since the stole Coach Martin away from Catholic.

I watched them crush Newman earlier this year. I thought they had a lot of big kids for a 2A team.

IMO, coach Martin is great, but I believe the change in U-High football came when coach Mahaffey brought in the WR coach from Central

Yeah, he pretty much gets PT based on name...although his motor is always running.

Back to OP, really good big offensive line and a hoss at running back (185 yards rushing last night), good, deep defense. Very few players play both ways, a real luxury for a 2A team. If our senior FS can't keep his gimpy hamstring going we are susceptible to the long pass. Having 19 seniors makes a difference when you go on the road, and staying out of the Curtis side of the bracket has been a nice change. We will know more after the Calvary game-the Redemptorist folks that played them earlier this year believe we will win.
