They had KAT who is averaging 24/12 and Devin Booker who is averaging 20 ppg and just had 70 points tonight. They also had Willie Cauley Stein and two experienced guards in the harrison twins

They scored less points than the champs

I think the bigger question is, if Cal doesn't feel obligated to stick with Harrison over Ulis do they beat Wisconsin?

That said, it's hard to go undefeated. There's a reason only a handful of teams have done it. 2012 likely doesn't win one without a loss to Vandy in the SEC tournament. And they ran into an incredibly talent and experienced Wisconsin team (that I think gets undersold in this situation).

How did UCLA not win the title with Love, Westbrook, Collison?

They didn't play the champs. That was an underrated, great Wisconsin team who was out for revenge after how they lost to UK in 2014. Kaminsky was a great college player and Dekker was not exactly chopped liver.

They lost 1 game the whole year, just goes to show how damn stupid a one and done tournament is in deciding the best team. That Duke team's players have done jackshit in the NBA, Wisconsin's Kaminsky and Dekker have been solid and they were not freshman at the time too.

It was the best collection of talent on a college team I've seen in my lifetime. Devin Booker came off the fricking bench. They had around ten NBA caliber players on the team. The fact that that team didn't win the National Title is damning for Calipari.

That may not have even been Kentucky's most talented team. Their 1993 and 1996 teams were every bit as good and would have beaten their 2015 team by double digits.

I'm not one of those who thinks everyone in every sport was better back in the day, but college basketball teams in the late 80s until about 2002 Maryland were significantly better than the teams on the court now.

And my point still stands. It's incredibly difficult to go undefeated in the modern day NCAA Tournament. Kentucky had a longer winning streak than any of them because of the additional games in the season.

They picked two horrible years to be really good. 2007 Florida and 2008 Memphis were just flat out better.

I think of it differently. I think it just shows how difficult it is to win a national title. That team went undefeated in the regular season and that's incredibly difficult.

No you're right. It's difficult to do.

There have only been to wire-to-wire College Football champs.

I know I'm right. Only 19 teams in the almost 80 years that the NCAA Tournament has been around have entered the tournament undefeated. Only seven finished with an undefeated season at the end of that tournament.

probably not even Kentucky's best team. AD's team that won the national title and the team with John Wall and Demarcus Cousins were easily better.

Wisconsin isolated Booker and drove at him every possession in the Final Four game. He was a complete liability that night and spent a lot of time on the bench.

Congrats on 70 though.
