I like McNeese's chances. I say that as someone who will be there wearing red. The 20+ in the OP is just bait. Bottom line, wouldn't surprise me if McNeese won.

It's all good, it'll get the discussion going. Won't surprise me at all if McNeese wins, I'd be very surprised if they won by 3 TDs+ though. But anything can happen I guess.

I haven't looked at the line, but after the season they had last year and their performance in the opener (didn't expect them to win, just thought maybe they would look semi competitive) it's definitely believable that they're dogs.

Yeah, I think we've seen the peak of Cajun football for the foreseeable future.
Eta: he'll have to have a couple of more bad years. What he did in his first 4 years is pretty amazing, but it looks like the magic may be gone

Do you pay attention to anything beyond LSU?
Let me answer that for you...no. Because you clearly have some kind of thought in your head (like the ULL fans) that McNeese has no business being in this game. That because ULL is an FBS team, they are an automatic lock to win.
I'm cautious about saying we whip their arse like last time, because I still think ULL is a much better team than in 2007. They may be on a decline under Hud, but even in their decline they are better than that team. I still think we win this game, but I don't think its by 21 points.
I just hope we don't lose people to injury like has been the case in so many of these early season OOC games lately. Last year showed that if we stay healthy, we are a team to be reckoned with.

I'm not sure what to expect out of this game, but Guidry is a damn good coach. McNeese will come ready and Hud better be prepared for it
