I had to look them up, I figured since you could bet on them they would be 11-0 and it is a big matchup.

One is 4-6 and other is 5-4.

You have to be more of a degenerate to gamble on crappy high school football. Woodlawn is 5-4 and McKinley is 4-5….

I don't gamble, but I would take McKinley if I did.

These teams are dead even. McKinley beat St. Amant and lost to EA. Woodlawn beat EA and lost to St. Amant.

It cashes or loses all the same as any other sports bet. The money is still green.

Not that I would try it, but it seems like a game like this would be very easy to fix. 2 very average teams, both with a lot of kids from low socio-economic backgrounds. I am not saying millions could be made, but how hard would it be to slip a few kids from Woodlawn a $100 and tell them to go ahead and lose by 9 or more points?

Well they cap the limit on those high school games at like $500 so the risk isn't really worth the fix.

Gotcha. Therein lies the rub.

Damn Vegas being smarter than gamblers again...

None of the books out here have high school lines. Only the offshore ones.

I got Woodlawn, Shaw, and JC in a 3 game parlay paying 7.5 to 1.

McKinley needs to win to make the playoffs.

Woodlawn's qb is being "withheld from play"

Well, McKinley is trying to get into the playoffs, but the guy in handcuffs is not really Woodlawn's current qb.

On that pic: Does anyone know if cops in BR only have to take one physical fitness test? When they first start?

Honest question.

Both teams will likely make the playoffs.

If you win 3 games and/or come from virtually anywhere other than Terrebonne and Lafourche, you make the 5A playoffs

They are a study in contrasts. I've seen like 3 of their games on Eatel. Woodlawn has a dynamic offense. McKinley can't complete a forward pass. McKinley has a big and athletic defense. Woodlawn has trouble stopping anyone.

What the hell? Has this always been the case of is this something new?

That's crazy. It would be so easy to rig one of these if you were in high school with an arse load of money.

I have just noticed it the past few weeks, but usually has been Florida or California teams and I think most were ranked nationally. Think they had a Northern LA game up last week though.

I was rattled when I looked up McK and Woodlawn records, not sure why they hell they put that game up.
