Why the hell is Southern playing Loyola on a weekend in the middle of, what should be, conference play?

That's not the weird part. The weird part is that SWAC teams play a series with every team in your division twice and never play teams in the other division.

Why do people care like it's a big deal if a team plays a non-conference game in November or a non-conference game while others play conference games?
The schedule says at the beginning of the year how many conference games you play, it doesn't change because the month changes or some other conference plays a conference game on that day.
