I'd have no qualms about moving to Toronto to play for a mediocre/bad team if I were making 60 million. Money will get you a lot further than rings in the long run.

I bet if Portland's offer is within a million dollars a year of Toronto's deal, Hedo will go to Portland.

So I doubt he pays American income taxes since he is not a citizen of the US. He would pay his income taxes to Turkey.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure he pays some kind of income taxes to the U.S.

I looked it up, since he is on a Work Visa he would file a Non-Resident Alien tax return (form 1040NR or 1040NR-EZ) on his US income only.

So I was wrong.
