I have have zero desire to watch a single Bowl game this season because of ESPN

why wouldn't you watch one?

and how did they screw the NFL and NBA? Basketball is skcrewed up because it is to much like the MLB a couple of real dominate teams everyone else sucks.

NFL and NCAAF is the two greatest sports in the country. (I love college baseball too but only people in south Louisiana really follow that)

I agree in some respects.

They certainly are guilty for making fans dumber with the idiotic debate format they force down or throats while having the gall to call it in depth analysis.

As much as I like PTI, the success of that show directly led to rise of arse hats like Skip Bayless and Colin Cowherd who just say bullshite to get reactions while acting as if they are students of the game.

Its a dirty open secret they are behind the Big East getting torn to pieces b/c they were made the conference wanted to take there TV rights to the open market.

They decide what the story will be and cram it down our throats. Cowherd openly admits he doesn't even give a damn about your team if its from a "small" market. He goes all, well you must be boring b/c your ratings aren't as high so you don't deserve to be talked about. Never mind that ignores the simple logic that OF COURSE a Yankees game will have more viewers than a Reds game b/c there are a shite load more people living in that region. That doesn't mean the Reds aren't wroth talking about.

and yes, they are in the biz to make money but when you cater to ready made fanbases you get shittier overall coverage b/c of that slant.

Have you seen the bowl games that ESPN has given us this year?

LSU fans want to bitch at me for starting this thread huh?

You don;t think TV (ESPN) had NOTHING to do with you getting in a shitty arse bowl this year?

You don't think ESPN is behind the whole fricked up Super teams in the NBA?

They have 6 teams that hey suck cock on and they shite on the rest of the NBA teams.

It's a fricking joke.

They are also behind the whole Super Conferences in College football

They are also behind the whole having to wait 40 fricking days to play a god damn College Football Championship game.

It's getting stupid.

ESPN is also behind the pussyfication of the NFL. Calling heads for Helmet2Helmet hits and shite

ESPN is more powerful than CNN, FOX News,k and MSNBC combined

It seems to me that they have totally fricked up College Football.

They have fricked up Basketball (NBA)

They have fricked up the NFL

They have fricked up Baseball.

Thank god they can't get their hands on the Olympics or they would frick that up as well.

There needs to be some Sports TV Competitors. ESPN / ABC / ESPN 2 / ESPN 3 / ESPN 4 / ESPN 5 / ESPN 17 / ESPN HS / ESPN U have all ruined everything.

Shut the frick up

As far as bowl games, I think a lot of people would prefer pre-BCS when Orange/Fiesta/Sugar/Rose were the same day. BCS setup is not all ESPN's fault, but since they own all but like three games, spreading them out over the course of the week after January 1 kills interest IMO.

I think Disney destroyed ESPN...
I hate the contrarian culture and hyper comparison "reporting"...ESPN is a ratings whore. Here are a few examples of why ESPN sucks...

I'm not sure why posters are ripping the OP, it's a legit question. ESPN's agenda is unnerving. They control college football--my favorite sport.
