247 had this out and it's kind of unfair to both these teams:

LINK

Wisky:

@MSU, @Michigan, bye, OSU, @Iowa

Tennessee:

UF, @UGA, @A&M, Bama

Both are fing brutal

Eessh, and the national media almost unanimously picked UT to win the SEC East. Did they not bother to take a peak at the schedules?

Tennessee only because I think UF is pretty good this year and Iowa appears to have been overrated again.

Granted Wisky has two legit top 5 teams out of the four

CCGs are fun and all, but your draw for cross-division games often rules the day, especially in the B1G west. See 2015 Iowa.

They did. Tennessee's schedule outside these four games is garbage.

The SEC East is garbage.

Kind of my feeling. Like the Tenn schedule has more good games (all 4) while I would say only Bama is as good or better than 3 of the B1G teams Wisky plays.

If we are ranking all 8 of these opponents based on rankings it's:

Bama
OSU
Michigan
MSU
A&M
UGA
UF
Iowa

?? Bama/OSU are 1/2 so I'm leaving Bama at 1

I'm not even certain Bama is better than OSU

At least Wisky gets a bye week in there. About the only positive I can draw from those schedules.

Tennessee because they don't get a bye week between their 4 games

Look about even in difficulty to me.

With UT's hype they should come out of that 3-1. I'd bet they go 1-3.

I honestly think that Wisky schedule looks tougher. 3 of those games are on the road with the only home game against the Buckeyes???? Ouch!!! Will make us look a lot better if they can somehow go 3 and 1 against that. Will go 1 and 3 if I have to guess though.

In addition to playing @MSU, @Michigan, Ohio State, and @Iowa, Wisconsin also plays newly-ranked Nebraska. With a Bye in that slate, Wisconsin has five difficult games coming up.

Wisconsin/Michigan State will be an interesting game this weekend. Downside for Wisconsin is the game being in Spartan Stadium and both teams' success stems from incredible TOP. That being said, it looks to be a relatively low-scoring affair with two quality defenses. That's anyone's game.

Ohio State looks really good, but a game at Camp Randall under the lights is one of the most difficult atmospheres in the country. In their last five games at Camp Randall, Ohio State is 3-2, the average margin of victory is 5.5 points, and only one of those games was separated by more than seven points (Wisconsin's 31-18 win over No. 1 Ohio State in 2010).

Iowa is a difficult place to play, but Wisconsin has won three in a row at Kinnick. There will be a contingent of red in the stadium. Wisconsin lost to Iowa in 2015 by four points after Joel Stave tripped over himself at the one-yard line. What a disaster.

Wisconsin has had Nebraska's number since the Huskers joined the B1G in 2011. Wisconsin is 4-1 with three blowout wins.

These are all winnable games, but going 2-3 seems more realistic.

Anyone else have the song pop in their head after reading the end of the thread title?

I'm just not sure if the game against LSU was won b/c of LSU's awful QB play, or Wisconsin's competent play. Wisky doesn't get blown out often (excluding 2014), but this OSU team is more talented than most of Tressel's teams who walked into Camp Randall (maybe not the version with TP as a Junior who Wisky ran the opening kickoff back against)
