He did the same thing in the show at PSU. That math genius offensive lineman was awesome, but O'Brien just stole the show.

O'Brien was awesome. He definitely stole the show.

JJ may or may not be a douche nozzle, but he is, at the very least, an elite level narcissist.

I liked Bill's reaction to AF's injury. The same thing was said by every Texans fan

I don't particularly like him. I don't like his antics at all. But I thought it was awesome what he did after the defense got chewed out.

Not nearly as bad as Mike Smith last year and how in the world did nobody mention what Hopkins did to D. Hall? That was one of the most hilarious things I've ever seen.

Hopkins made Hall look like a fool.

I'm pretty sure Watts hat was a Milwaukee Brewers hat.

He's both. How are those things mutually exclusive?

Nobody is arguing he's not good or amazing for that matter. And nobody is knocking on him for working his arse off and staying after practice.

His personality is rank with douchebaggery though. That's ok, some of my team's best players are tools too.

And just about every baseball player is a tool and I still love baseball

Star athlete culture. Its almost not even their fault anymore. Almost...

Haters gonna hate. They cant be him so might as well call him a douche, narscissist, etc. Say what you want, but staying lat after practice an hour and then an extra hour and a half greeting fans, taking pictures and signing autographs is awesome.

Again, NO ONE is hating his on-field performance or his work ethic.

He just has a douchey personality. Why are people so sensitive about that?

He's already one of the best defensive players to EVER play the game. Lots of mega-stars have less-than-desirable personalities. I've heard Jerry Rice is a prick, doesn't make me take for granted how badass he was. Michael Jordan is a giant a-hole.

And it doesn't make me a "hater" as the children say.

As one of the leagues best and most popular players he's going to be asked for interviews, television shows, radio, etc any chance they have. That makes him an attention whore? Its publicity for him, the NFL, his sponsors.

Was Reggie White a douche?

I think that is an appropriate "talent" comparison for JJ.

No, he was probably a thug.

Kidding. He probably was a douche though. He just didn't have the 24/7 media cycle that athletes today are susceptible to.

Exactly and having a decent personality isn't grounds for calling someone a douche or attention whore.
