Hall of Fame Game Cancelled

Because of the wrong paint they put on the turf. I guess it it made the turf stick together. They are trying to get it off but it doesn't look lie they will play. Coaches sure as hell won't want their players risk injury on that surface.

There are two stadiums nearby that are big enough to hold this game (U of Akron and Massillon High School) but the logistics of moving the game an hour and a half before kickoff would be disastrous.

Yeah just saw Schefter say the paint congealed and it would be like playing on tar

The paint that was applied today on middle of field, and in endzones, has congealed; would be like playing on tar.
Game now doubtful.

They Canton do anything right apparently.

congealed
First time this word has ever been used in reference to anything in the history of the NFL?

They never should have put the ceremony inside the stadium. Then the paint would have had plenty of time to cure.

Good.
The only thing dumber than people who watch preseason NFL are the ones who pay money to buy tickets to watch preseason NFL

They have 4 other shots. HoF game is a throwaway.

In 1976 Neville played some New Orleans school in a playoff game. They used lime to mark the field. It rained, and some players got burned by the chemical reaction. Now the LHSAA specifies what kind of field markings to use. True story.

That's just false. No opportunity to impress your employer is "throwaway."
I'd say even more so in a game environment like football. Not to mention the life changing pay that could come with it.

Worst part is ESPN preempted Sunday Night Baseball to broadcast the HOF game. Now what is there to watch? The Olympics?

No beach volleyball tonight?

The HOF game is total shite anyway.
Everyone gets all stoked about football starting, then that lasts about 10 minutes until the third string UDFA RG from Montana State checks in.

Randy Moss says people need to lose their job over this mane. A lot of cash being lost over this mane
Posted on 8/7/16 at 5:51 pm to YNWA
Just showed it on Sportscenter, middle of the field is a giant black spot

Randy Moss is not happy

I love the HOF game. This sucks. I wanted to see a few live snaps.
