Gruden calling out Kiper

Kiper saying the Cowboys should take Ezekial Elliot. Last year, Gruden shows a clip where Kiper saying you should never take a RB in the first round. Gruden says Kiper, you are like a chameleon.

Gruden called his arse out when the Seahawks took Russell Wilson. Kiper essentially said he was too short to play the position and Gruden got pissed.

Do people still not understand how Kiper works? Teams feed him inside information, in exchange he says what they want him to. The Cowboys wanted it to sound like a good pick so they had Kiper say they should take him right before they do. Kiper gets to be "right" about the pick and the Cowboys will continue to tell him stuff they want everyone to know.

I love how we're celebrating Gruden here while this was a scripted part of the program. They had the clip ready of Kiper saying never to take a RB in the first immediately after Gruden said his part and before Kiper responded. This was produced.

They were chirping at each other all night, Gruden at one point started to ignore him...Kiper reached over and gave him a "lol just kidding pal" nudge on the arm and Gruden shot him a "don't ever fricking touch me" look.
Gruden is usually spot on, he called Rankins the best 3 technique lineman in the draft and was in love with him...which is why I'm excited about the direction the Saints took.

Just because you pioneer something doesn't mean you are good at it. It just means you are doing something no one else has been doing before. It allows you to make significant errors because there is nothing previously to measure against.
