Anyone hearing this?
Gregg has exceeded my meager expectations 10-fold and given his past I don't think he could reasonably be expected to continue at this level. Might be the best time to get max value.

Don't know. I could see Melancon as closer and Gregg as set up man.
I am a Cub fan, but I really want to see the Pirates make the playoffs this year. I went there in 2010 and enjoyed the stadium, the city and their fans.
I think such a trade can benefit both teams. I think Gregg's past performance indicates his shelf life is fleeting but maybe he can keep up his level for a couple of months, help the Pirates and get the Cubs some value in return.
