If he can get a couple of birdies coming in, he should be OK. It would help if he left the driver in the bag.

I agree....He can win without his driver....A few years back he won the British open without sing the driver one time....

His driver really hasn't hurt him much this week. Actually I would say its only lost him two shots. 17 yesterday and 13 today, but it was big in him making birdie on 16 yesterday and 12 today so it evens out.

Huge 6 footer upcoming for Tiger

Big difference in both 69 and 70 and being 4 back instead of 5 back

Solid 69 for Tiger. Certainly in it heading to the weekend. Needs to clean up the loose chips and drives here and there.

He hit 7/14 fairways & 14/18 greens. He's got to hit at least 10 or 11 fairways over the weekend to contend.

How did I know this was a tiger woods thread before I opened it?

Are there others playing?

Because he's tied for 25th but the only golfer in the title?

And it's only Friday. He's kinda the story right now. He is as far as I'm concerned. When it gets to be nut cuttin' time the discussion will expand. But right now, Tiger will dominate it.

If there were anyone else of note in contention I would put their name in the title. If a single leader emerges as the weekend goes on their name can replace lead.
