Pizza Line - Heatley, Alfredsson and Spezza for the Ottawa Senators. After the lockout every time the Sens scored 5 or more in a home game they would give out free pizza coupons.

Was going to post that one. Like a line change in hockey; 5 men on 5 men out. Two complete units. Perry had some success with those teams.

I was somewhat surprised this one has not been mentioned....

New York Sack Exchange. But I do not consider them to be on an unheralded team.

Lyons, Klecko, Gastineau, Salaam.

Certainly not an unheralded, great team, but Wisconsin won 11 games in 2014 and their LBs were nicknamed the 'Chevy Bad Boys' as a "nod their rural roots." They were an incredibly good unit.

Fits this topic perfectly, too bad they went 2-8 (that'll keep you from being heralded.)

2-8? You do realize this was a basketball unit?

Harvey's Wallbangers

I thought this was a perfect nickname for the '82 Brewers

The team's offical nickname is someone who makes alcohol.
The manager was named Harvey.
They led the league in doubles.

I was referring to Tulane Football's 1964 defensive unit, known as "The Posse." they even had nooses on their helmets.

Oh, and my bad, they went 3-7.

ASUs defense was WAY better in the mid 90s you commie!
