Everyone remembers Buckner for continuing the Red Sox curse inthe 86 world series, but he spent some time with the Cubs, where he moved from the outfield to first base.

Eckersley was part of the trade that sent Buckner to the Red Sox, but most people remember Eckersley as an A

Not superstars, but good players who "played" with the Saints:

Jake Reed
Chris McAlister
Kerry Collins
Alvin Harper
Terry Allen
Wesley Walls
Randal Hill
Eddie Kennison
Az Hakim

But NOBODY remembers that Buckner was a Dodger, because he was behind Steve Garvey and Dusty Baker.

Or that Dennis Eckersley was an Indian. Or that he had a no-hitter and a 20-win season. He was a damn good starting pitcher in the late 70s.

Will Clark for the Cardinals

Canseco on the White Sox. They sure are good at picking up stars for a minute.

They really are. I'll throw Omar Vizquel into that discussion. Even Ron Santo played his final season on the South Side.
