I'm not equipped to answer this question as I've only ever seen college basketball played in 4 on campus arenas:

PMAC
Cajundome
Chaffeits (St Louis U)
Mizzou Arena

Mizzou Arena is the nicest of the 4.

Pauley pavilion was arse before the renovations, now it's ok. Reed arena was probably a big deal in 1999 and it has aged but it's aged alright

Did you ever go to the original Kiel? It was not amazing, but not awful. The architecture was interesting. The first Arch Madness was held there I went as a student.

Kohl center seems like a good place to watch a game. Thompson Boiling is a nice venue as well

I have never watched a game there but been in it. It is an interesting vibe.

ETA:

Off topic but I think is a good thing. There are no domes in this years NCAA Tournament until the Final 4

Dayton

Wichita
San Diego
Pittsburgh
Dallas
Charlotte
Detroit
Nashville
Boise

Atlanta
LA
Boston
Omaha

FF is in San Antonio

Off Topic again...
Wished the NCAA would get rid of the POD system as now both Duke and Carolina are almost guaranteed to play 2 "home" games in the NCAA tourney. Kentucky will get 4 home games Nashvegas and Catlanta, but most likely play either Duke or Carolina in a Regional Final or semi. KU will get to play in Wichita and Omaha so they get 4 "home" games also.

want to see Pauley and Moody again after the remodel

New Moody is nice. Easy in and easy out. Got up during a timeout, got a beer, and was back in my seat before the game restarted. Too bad for LSU they don't limit their games to 20 minutes.

Ohio State dropped a bunch of money into the Schottenstein Center in the late 90s and it's an awful fan experience.

The arenas built even just a few years later and especially now do a great job maximizing amenities but keeping the home court advantage alive. The Schott is a massive cavern.

Northwestern state had a balcony that i sat in for la tech vs nw state.
Weird tiny gym. Worst college gym.

Depaul had a high school gym decades ago. No bad seats.

Again off topic but seeing where the regionals are at

If MU is any good the NCAA will get cute and force MU KU game in Omaha

They will force an Arkansas/aTm OU/Texas game 2nd round in Dallas. With SMU possibly being in the other part of the POD.

B1G gets hosed in this as their only true regional is in Detroit, but nothing anywhere else, go to UK/ACC territory, KU territory, or out West.

The ACC and SEC gets a break getting a Subregional and 2 Regionals in their map which helps them with tickets

The Big XII gets 2 Subregionals and a Regional in its traditional market.

I thought DePaul played at the Rosemont Horizon/Allstate Arena when Meyer was coaching? Because when WGN used to have their games it was always there and NBC always did games from there.

Loved it when WGN would show Illinois games and DePaul games.

It's a nice arena. Feels small for the size and can get really loud.

The Tad Pad at Ole Miss was laughably bad. Bud Walton was a damn NBA level arena when it was built.
For the longest time the only college arena I had ever been to was Bud Walton. The second I visited was the Tad Pad. I couldn’t believe that a team that played in the Tad Pad held its own in a series against the Razorbacks. I’m not gonna lie though, the Tad Pad had a certain charm.

Barnhill was an amazing place to watch games at also. BWA is a ton better, but when it got going, especially when Robken would run around, Barnhill made your ears hurt.

Every Hog fan should thank Sutton for building BWA.

If you like seats staring at other seats, being a mile away from the court, and having some of the worst seats in the house as a student then Coleman Colosseum is the place for you

I haven't been to too many but by far the nicest I've been to is the KFC Yum center. I had a front row seat to watch the Louisville women's basketball team kick our arse in the sweet 16 a few years ago

Mississippi States arena is a total dump
