I just saw on the highlights that they had 9 points with 8 minutes left in the half and finished the half with 9. That's rough

They should be in New Orleans playing Southern in a non-conference game at the SKC the night before the bayou classic. Have the drum lines battle at halftime. It would be a full house, and much needed money would be made for both schools.

They'd lose money renting out the SKC.

I've never understood why hbcu basketball teams have such a hard time fielding good squads. You'd think outside of the elite basketball powers that a lot of mid tier players would want to go there.

Say what you want but Grambling came back in the 2nd half and rolled with 25 points for a total of 34.

If it wasn't for the 21 Turnovers and 3 total assists & the 12 for 52 shooting this would have been much closer.

Legit the first time I've felt sorry for the opposing team. Those guys on the bench were saying "I don't want to go back in coach"

Can Broderick Fobbs coach basketball once the football season is over with? I bet he could turn it around. Coach Fobbs has done an amazing job with the football team. To bad their success hasn't found its way over to the basketball team.

Team full of Kobes

*doesn't have the ball when it comes across half court*

Welp, I guess I'm not touching it this time.

The money to hire good coaches and build facilties isn't there for most HBCUs. And then a good coach gets scooped up after a few years by a bigger school.
