Hard for any player to be worth more than one win in one week. And home field is definitely worth something, but not sure it is worth an extra year of control of Bryant.

ETA: And they went 5-3 without him anyway, which is better than their season long winning percentage.

It really doesn't matter with who the Cubs have on the mound tomorrow.
They'd also be hosting if they didn't choke on a dick in the 9th in the opening game of the last Pirates series so what's the point of this?

Dumb post. The Cubs are being built for a solid 6-7 year run with a ton of young talent. They are a couple of starters away from being a WS favorite for the next several years plus they got the extra year with Bryant. Anything they do this year is lagniappe
