only way I would want him here for one year is if we win the title or a playoff berth

In 2014 he had 3500 passing yards at 60% 29 TD and 14 Interceptions. You don't think he'd be an upgrade?

And 4,000 turnovers. Les isn't interested. 2008 forever haunted the man.

No shite. I'd want him at LSU if we go 6-6 and lose the Independence Bowl.

Copy and pasting this from my original thread on the rant, but feel like this needs to be read by as many as possible.

quote:

Nothing more than an average quarterback who played against mediocre opponents. Let's break this down: If he goes to South Carolina are they a threat? Yeah, a major player in the race to the Independence Bowl and a 7-5 regular season. Say he decides to roll to Athens and suit up at Georgia. Let's be honest, Richt could have Aaron Rodgers under center and still find a way to go 10-2. You know it. I know it. Now another hypothetical scenario for my pals on the rant - Coach Miles gets on the horn and pulls out all the gimmicks to persuade young Ev' to come down to Baton Rouge. A tempting offer considering all the quarterback success stories. The modern day QB whisperer, a guru so-to-speak

Everett Golson is getting benched as a fifth year senior due to the resurgence of rising junior, Malik Zaire ( ). He's on a crash course to getting his shite rocked week in, week out. So whichever of our SEC brethren land this baller.. Congratulations. You've hit the lottery

I would like to believe Harris or Jennings will take the next step. If we strike out I wanna strike out with the players Les and Cam recruited not a player who couldn't cut it at Notre Dame.

Have you looked at LSU's QB roster in the last 12 months or so?

LSU already has two QBs competing in Spring ball right now. It's too late for him to gel in. He would have to learn the system and get adjusted, Miles wouldn't start him over Jennings.

Golson had more turnovers by himself last year than 85 FBS teams. Les isn't starting that type of guy.

I'm all for adding competition but Golson would have no shot to win the job unless there was an injury.
