golfTEC: anyone had a swing evaluation at one of these?

One just opened in Baton Rouge off of Corporate and was curious to see who has been to one.
They have all the latest equipment to see swing your swing.
How is this place? Did it increase your Nitro ability?

I did one in Dallas and am currently taking lessons with one of the guys. It's helpful although all the numbers and stuff can be overrated. They give you a lot of helpful video of yourself and drills and stuff if you take lessons. I'm liking it so far

Do they have a Buzz hub swing vision camera in them?

They have a camera that tracks your ball flight and impact angle and all that

Based on who is the instructor at the BR location I would say its a load of shite.
Edit - and if you ever have an instructor that doesn't use slow motion cameras (240 + fps with manual shutter speed adjustment), trackman or flightscope, and have access to a kinetic vest.... (For full swing)

All I want to see is my hands at impact, clear as frick, in slow motion. Got to see if I'm scooping.

From looking at their website it look like they have all that. What's wrong with the instructor there? I have never had swing analysis and am somewhat interested in checking the place out.

I have no clue who is there but most of the instruction at golftec is computerized. Basically the computer spits out a list of things that you are doing/not doing and things to work on. The "instructor" is just reading what the computer spits out.
In my experience, GolfTec has been pretty legit.
