Heading up to Broken Bow lake in OK this weekend for a bachelor party. We plan on playing Cedar Creek golf course one day, have any of you played it before? Any suggestions of other courses in the area? From what I've found online it looks ok, cheap as hell this time of year - $35 green fee and cart.

that course should be nice, its been years since i've played it though. southeast oklahoma is absolutely beautiful.

good news for you all, mccurtain county oklahoma is the meth capital of the world, so you should have access to some high quality stuff.

eta: here is a nice little documentary on meth in that area.

There's a few nice ones in Edmond, but 4 hours might be a bit of a drive.

haha, that's more than a bit of a drive. Cedar Creek will be fine. it really is tough to be the scenery of SE oklahoma. by far the most beautiful part of the state.

Keegan might like that. He does meth before/during/after each round he plays.

Nice. I might have to do some exploring one day. Haven't really left Edmond much since we moved here.

You're missing out. The foothills of the Ozarks and Ouchitas are one of the few redeeming qualities of Oklahoma.

we haven't been here that long. A calendar year. We've taken the kids to the aquarium in Tulsa, and the zoo in OKC. I've got 4 kids, and they're mostly young, so some activities are going to be ruled out. I'd love to rent a cabin somewhere within driving distance for a weekend or something like that. Don't wanna hijack or get an anchor, but I'm open to suggestions if you and CtotheVrzrbck wanna spit some out.

Since it is a bachelor party... anyone have a clue how hard it will be to get some strippers one of the nights up there?

Check the proximity to oil rigs. If you're close to one, there's a good chance you're close to strippers.
