I'm thinking about getting a set of clubs and starting to play again. I played last week for the first time since before I hit puberty, had a blast and even hit a parpar. But a lot has changed club wise in 18+ years.

How do y'all feel about hybrid clubs? Graphite vs steel? T regular putters vs weighted putters?

Looking around at some different sets, and I'm more confused than before I started looking.

Also, where is a good place to get some Payne Stewart outfits?

So much of it depends on your feel and the quality of your game. I'd definitely recommend getting fitted for clubs if you're trying to play a lot. If not, maybe just hit up a golf smith or dicks to try and figure out what works best with you.

Putters are all about feel so that's going to be personal preference. Just don't get a belly putter. Those things are for losers.

I played a lot before puberty, but just played for the first time in almost 20 years, so my game is very weak. But I also managed to par a hole and n make some really shots. So, I'm just looking for some used clubs to get back into it. I saw this for sale, but don't know much anymore, but it seems like a really good deal:
6,7,8,9,SW,PW,GW- Adams Golf Idea Tech a40SR Irons w/ iRod UST Stiff Graphite Shafts nice Golf Pride Grips
Hybrid- Adams Idea Tech a40SR Boxer 4 Hybrid w/ Adams a40S Hybrid Graphite Shaft and Adams Grip
WOODS:
Driver- Callaway FT iQ I-Max 11 deg Driver w/ Mitsubishi Rayon Fubuki 60 Flex R Shaft w/ Callaway Grip
Putter- Odyssey White Steel 2-Ball SRT Putter.

Any opinions on those clubs?

Old man clubs. If you are young and/or athletic at all, the shafts will be too weak for you. Nothing wrong with the quality, just older and made for a slow swing speed.

Nothing wrong with hybrids, nothing wrong with graphite-if quality product, and putters are all feel/personal preference.

Thanks a ton. That's what I was worried about. I am younger and athletic, but I'm so rusty, my setting is probably very slow. But that won't last long with any practice. I was a 25-30 handicap when I was 12, so I think I'll at least get to the point with a little practice and relearning my correct swing.

But what about the shaft makes them old man clubs? I'm 32, strong, and athletic. What type of shafts should I keep an eye out for? I'm completely ignorant about such things.

Edit: and they probably were an old man's clubs. The price is really good and it's a complete set. I figure it's either someone's whose father died or can't play anymore. I figure if someone was just upgrading their clubs, they'd probably keep a driver or a putter.

The flex. Easiest way to find out what you need is a fitting. For your experience level, $50 fitting at Dick's would suffice. If you buy the clubs from them it's free.

Flex isn't one size fits all. How you attack the ball, swing speed, how tall you are, it all factors into it. I personally swing KBS Tour C Taper X flex which is basically rebar. I'll take 3 yards less distance to tighten dispersion.

All personal preference, good luck.

Thanks. I'll have to do a little more research than I thought.
