Meh, I'm not mad about it, just amazing how brazen Boom is about his racism.

And if folks call him out on it repeatedly, I have no problem with that.

Tran is the one I have seen mention it over and over and over and over again. That's why I said something to him, not y'all.

boom insults others and cries victim, so I'm gonna call it like it is.

That's like if I called boom a cracker and taking offense to him calling me chan. pot calling the kettle black

I was referring to one instance just recently. Hell I've watched a lot of Houston games this year, especially the nationally televised games and I hear harden. Never once James.

That includes all the okc, gsw, and sas games. That makes up like 15% of their games alone.

This is a really stupid argument you two are having. I hate defending boom, but a lot if home town broadcasts call players by their first time. The Grizzlies hometown guys refer to most of their lineup by their first names. Whatever the case, who cares and why are you making a big deal about it

If you call that a melt, you haven't peeped the liberal left in this country lately

If Boom wants to conduct himself the way he doesn't, with racist condescension, that's his prerogative. Doesn't mean folks are going to ignore it, though.

Wow. Wasn't expecting that. But yea only a idiot would watch one game and argue with someone who watches EVERY game. Who the hell would do that? Really.

Of course, but at the same time thats a "HOME" broadcast. Not the interwebs which someone is trying to make it a thing to show his 'basketball acumen' and how 'connected' he is.

I mean its like saying players with common first names and referring to them as such...CP3 as chris, griffin as blake, durant as kevin, etc

I think its hilarious he does it FWIW, I just think boom is blowing smoke as usual.

I don't deny that. But when someone says that he is called 'James' almost 100% of the time, and then the first 10 instances (literally) of the latest highlight video show them calling him "Harden", I'm gonna call bull shite.

Idk, i generally call Zach Randolph, Marc Gasol, and Tony Allen by their first names even when posting. It's just a habit because when I discuss the team with my friends I refer to them by their first names. Again I'm not sure why the back and forth was necessary and what purpose it served. I like to pile onto boom too but in this instance I think it's stupid.

Only Houston fans refer to him as such, is the point. Not even their own broadcasters do so regularly, to avoid confusion.

In the basketball world, "James" is overwhelmingly assumed to be a reference to Lebron. There's no debate there, but it's been made one by Boom's petulance.

Dude, recently we've been acting like 2 centers fighting for an inch of space on the block. Boom is anal about 100% accurate discussion so we rib him when he says stuff like this ridiculous Harden is "James" thing. Lebron "James" James is the real James. It's just silly banter.
