Get well Rusty, my uncle was friends with him since high school and introduced me to him at a Mets game a while back.
My dad pitched against him and said he was the best hitter he ever saw

He hit is first HR before the age of 20, he hit his last HR after the age of 40.

I've read on here that Jesuit not so subtly promotes his time and accomplishments while there a good bit more than they do for Will Clark.

Most probably true, I was on the Jesuit team with Will and I could see that. Although I think Will has mellowed out with age

I mean they did name the back field and (I think) the library after Clark. I'm sure he made some very generous donations though.
