Tons of talent on that team in a weak conference.

First off, I'm pretty sure almost every team in the playoffs has "tons of talent".

Weak conference? Are you serious, Klark?

Link on karl? look at the talent on that GSW roster that team should have made the playoffs easily. The more deserving coach would be mchale who took the youngest team in the league to the playoffs.

I dunno about that. It's hard keeping a bunch of elite athletes happy AND keep that lockerroom together.

Spo won a title before Scott Brooks, and Brooks has as much talent on OKC as anyone in the League. What does that say of Brooks then?

LINK

2 of SI's 7 picked Karl.

LINK

all 3 of PBT's writers had the nuggets as a 5 or 4 seed. none had warriors in the playoffs.

he should have gotten more votes than he got, but Mark Jackson was more deserving.

it's the East. it's well known fact the West has more talent and is more competitive from top to bottom.

there's no way PJ should've even been in the top 4.

insert RocketTard

yes, McHale is a good coach, but to say he is more deserving of COY over Mark Jackson is ridiculous.

The Nets more than doubled their wins from last year

Lopez missed most of last yr, and they didn't have Joe Johnson, Evans, or Blatche. their core guys pretty much all stayed healthy. not saying PJ didn't do a good job, especially given him taking over in-season, but you expect that group to be a lot better than the previous yr.

Lionel Hollins is who should get some more notoriety.

To completely dismiss McHale because your irrational hatred of Houston teams is stupid but par for the course for you.

it's not about postseason success. it's only based on the regular season.

i'm not completely dismissing him.
I've in fact, several times praised the job he did this year considering he basically had a completely new roster, minus a 2nd year guy in Parsons.

but McHale wasn't and shouldn't have been in the top 3 COY pool ahead of George Karl, Mark Jackson, Spo, or Pop.

your irrational hatred for me is stupid, but overreacting to my previous statement is par on course for you.

Mchale curbstomped Jackson heads up 3 of the 4 games. Like 20 pts blowout type of games with a less talented team. The teams records were nearly identical and GSW has more talent than HOU. MCHALE is more deserving.
