going to gatlinburg in late April. Looking for the most scenic, nicest golf course in the area.

I wish they still had the Hillbilly course in Gatlinburg.

Gatlinburg Golf Course is a muni and isn't bad, has some unique holes, but the conditions vary. Bent Creek is a nice course, nothing spectacular, but a good track and was in good shape the one time I played it.

About 30 min from Gatlinburg is River Islands Golf Course. You can hardly play serious golf because of the scenery. The course is very fair, but at the same time challenging. It also is in very good shape. The greens keepers and maintenance crews are doing a very good job. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we played it again during our vacation.

hillbilly golf is still around. I just played there the end of September.

As for real courses on the way to Dollywood there is the Gatlinburg golf course.
