Patterson handled being left out of the playoff with class and had a positive outlook about preparing for the Peach Bowl and next season. Bridles acted like a child and was pretty pathetic.

You could see TCU hammering Ole Miss and Baylor losing the second the coaches opened their mouths in early December.

True.

And he is one of very few coaches to win the AP Coach of the Year more than once...

I feel like Baylor's personality as a football team is reflected by Briles, who has no class or morals, and Baylor as a team acts that way

This is about how much better Patterson handled being left out. But I didn't know how to put that into a title.

Patterson is one of the country's best coaches, all things considered, maybe the best period.

I agree.

Briles has done a great job at Baylor, but he isn't very likable. Patterson didn't bitch about not making the playoff... he instead got his team ready for the next game.

Worked with TCU football once. Hes a goofball at times with they way he does things BUT I think he is a very good coach. He has lost some great coaches to other jobs(particularly on defense) and still has had success.

I was extremely impressed with how he morphed his team from a defensive team that thrived in the MWC to an offensive juggernaut that could compete in the Big 12

Baylor is a fraud program that has never won a meaningful game ever.

Baylor is a thug program, Briles is trying to mold them after The U, but u can't do that when you constantly shite the bed in big games.

Briles is one of the best, if not the best, offensive minds in the game.

But Patterson is a better overall coach.

I would love to see GP on the side lines at LSU.
