Any chance he doesn't play in the CFB Playoff?

"Star Florida State running back Dalvin Cook was named as an associate in an aggravated assault case from July 17, 2014 that is still being investigated by Tallahassee police. The Tallahassee police released a statement that Cook is an associate, but has no further updates at this time. This release came as a result of an open records request from ESPN:
"While several of the reports requested involve open and active cases, one of note, involves an aggravated assault by two men who are alleged to have brandished a firearm at a neighbor on July 17th, 2014. Dalvin Cook, a current FSU football player is listed as an associate in the case. The case is under investigation and once complete, it will be provided as an update to this release."
The statement notes that ESPN asked for reports with the names of 360 Florida State athletes, and the department handed over 300 police reports where those athletes were "mentioned as a witness, victim, suspect, reporting party, etc."
Geez.

Poor Jimbo. ESPN is just picking on his poor, unfortunate players.

Does that answer your question?

An "associate" of an aggravated assault?
What does that even mean?
He is clearly not being charged, so 100% he plays.

Shocked, shocked I say! That an FSU player would be law breaker!

No time to investigate this when we've got Marcus Mariota terrorizing the roadways of America!

I'm not going to pretend to know what happened or is happening, but there is a difference between being a suspect and being an associate, which could just be just about anything.

Wonder how many more investigations involving FSU players are there...
