If you can't understand the meaning of that sentence I would think you don't speak English.

Why did JoPa try & cover up all those criminal acts his players were committing several yrs ago, to the extent the VICE PRESIDENT of Student Affairs complained bout his actions & attitude to the president of the university? And got fired/resigned under pressure as a result.

MOTIVE: protect the image of his football program.

your rational for not covering it up: "sorry I missed all this in 1998 but now that it has come to light, I want to report it so that I can be protrayed as wearing the White Hat once again". And, oh, yea. I am sorry bout all those kids who got raped over the yrs.

Bill James was just on the Doug Gottlieb show saying that Paterno deserves no blame and that the media created this smokescreen of Sandusky being this good and charitable man and they deserve the blame. WTF?

No link, but media finally starting to tie in Sandusky's 2nd Mile Foundation and how closely PSU and its Trustees were involved in the Foundation's operation. There are a few questionable transactions/property transfers/state funding-matching issues that are about to make it REAL UGLY for everyone involved. Governor Corbett and a few Federal Congressmen have their hands deep into this (no pun intended).

If the media ever steps back and looks at what Sandusky really seems to have been doing, the Freeh report will be nothing in comparison.
