Jackson is flying to Seattle today and is expected to sign with the Seahawks, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

In Seattle, Jackson would back up Lynch. That’s a familiar role for Jackson, who also shared a backfield with Lynch in Buffalo. The two were teammates with the Bills from 2007 to 2010.

Jackson is 34 and on the down side of his career, having averaged a career-low 3.7 yards a carry last season. But the Seahawks apparently think he has something left, and he’s about to join one of the best running offenses in the NFL.

Michael is one of the best backups in the league they need to trade him.

Might as well get a Patriot killer.

Never bought the hype that roto put on him.

He's got measurables but he wasn't great in college despite those and he's never even been the #2 guy since he got there.

There's a lot of people Joique Bell couldn't beat out on the saints.

Bell was also cut by the Saints and not traded so what's your point?

Good for Fred. Hopefully he'll get a ring before he hangs up the cleats.

He might as well have a box of rocks inside of his head. He still can't pick up the playbook, still can't switch the ball between hands, still can't pass block, and still can't hold on to the ball. There's a reason he's the 3rd string and is on the verge of getting cut.

For some reason Rotoworld has been proclaiming him as the next Barry sanders ever since they drafted him.

He had the same issues in college.

Lynch has just been super durable
