How old are you and when did you jump on the bandwagon?

It's hard "picking" a "favorite" NFL team when you have no in-state team to root for and until this year literally no affiliation with any team. Why would someone wake up and say they are fans of "The Baltimore Ravens" with absolutely no connections to the city of Baltimore or family history? People like this automatically gravitate to the better teams in the league. It's the same reason why so many people who never sniffed college are Alabama fans.

With Prescott as the QB at Dallas, this is literally the first year I've ever watched NFL and actually felt like I had a team to actively root for.

No love for the Eric Moulds era Buffalo Bills?

I don't necessarily have an issue with bandwagon fans if they stick with that team forever.

What happens is that these guys that are Patriots fans now were 49er and Cowboy fans as kids, and when Brady and Belichek retire, they'll move on too.

Maybe they started following them because their state didn't have a team and they played so many nationally broadcasted games over the years. It's a very similar concept on why there are so many Cubs fans that have no connection with the team. Surely you can understand that concept.

Before 2001 the only Patriot fans were in New England. If you meet a Patriot fan not from the northeast, it's a 99.9% probability they became a fan sometime after

I liked em as a kid with Grogan and the old school Pat the Patriot as the logo But they were only my AFC east team at the time.

I was OILERS all the way, when I lost my Oilers I went back to the 'niners ( Im originally from the bay area and the Pats) also a Red Sox fan from the 75 WS Fisk HR

Around when I was 15 my dad use to drive us up to Foxborough every Sunday from North LA just to get a glimpse at the Patriots. We would stand outside the gates and beg people for tickets.

Did you get in hg? Seems dark and weird to drive 1,000 miles to stand outside.
