I'd tell him there should be a rule that he can never officiate an Alabama game again as long as his daughter goes there.

Geez.

What about calls that are blatantly obvious, Tom? i.e. PP7 interception in '09?

The offsetting calls that should've been called in this year's game with Bama between Alexander and that Bama guy. At the most, it should've been offsetting.

I can't stand it when he calls our games.

Give me Hubert Owens, Matt Austin, they generally call it evenly.

There's almost always some weird play that either gets called or doesn't get called (when it should've been) when Ritter's crew is there.

It's the one where he actually has to call something on Bama because it's blatantly obvious on national TV. It pains him to do it but that's why it's a job, you do things you don't always like.

How about gauging the impact that calling a PF on one team (instead of calling offsetting penalties, since everybody down there was doing some shoving) has on the outcome of an entire game, you bug-eyed a-hole?

Before asking this piece of shite cheating whore any question requiring a candid response, he should be bent over and have a rusty tire iron shoved up his a-hole. Then he should be water boarded. At that point he should then be asked to resign and denounce his filthy cheating ways. Pretty sure that would be best for the sport.....,, but what the hell, that's just me....

Then throw the flag on every play until the holding stops.

They just let the OL grab outside the arms all night.

Not true.

Besides, the corruption is much deeper than that.

Why the "wow"? In the 30+ years I've called games, that's the same application of the holding rule taught in every clinic every year at every level of the game.

The "wow" is in reply to the fact that some CFB teams/players are more equal than others.

For example, for one team to go an entire SEC season without being called for holding, is baffling....but when you consider WHAT team it was, it is consistent with the "wow" factor.

OK, if that's how someone see it.

What Ritter is addressing is the portion of the rule which states....illegally impedes or illegally obstructs an opponent.
