Another good question is how the #1 team in the polls become the #5 seed? Since when reputation trumps having a good season?

NDSU should be 1 or 2 but to seed Sam 5th is horrible they should be 2 or 3

Yeah....Sam Houston State got completely hosed. I understand the Southland being down this year...but after what they did to a 9-1 UCA squad last night was impressive. I think they should be AT LEAST a top-4 seed over Jacksonville St. Illinois St getting in is pretty baffling, I agree. I think they're about to discuss the last few teams to get in and the ones that didn't make the cut.

NC A&T shouldn't be in either. I'm sorry but if your conference decides not to send its champion and go to a "bowl" you lose that bid.

Eh, I'm OK with them getting in. They aren't one of the teams that got in on margin, IMO. Illinois St and Sanford are both more questionable. I'm confused about what happens with the NEC...Duquesne won the conference and ended with an 8-3 record, but 2nd-place St. Francis is in instead at 7-4.

Yeah, I just read that on the Duquesne website. ESPN had Duquesne on top of the NEC standings on account of their overall record....they should fix that.
On a completely personal sidenote, I FINALLY won my FCS fantasy league in the 5th season thanks to Jeremiah Briscoe going OFF last night.

Such shite, if Sam isn't higher than a 5 seed then the SLC will never get a top 2 seed. At least they don't have UCA matched up with them in the second round.
I agree with you that all SWAC and MEAC teams should be eliminated like the Ivies. Either fully get in the playoffs or do your Celebration Bowl or whatever it's called foolishness.

Yeah that really pisses me off. You used to be able to catch several first round games on cable. It was glorious.
