If you had to make a guess.

I think casinos have to be so pissed someone came up with basically a "parlay" to be legal.

Im fascinated by how well they have orchestrated this whole operation.

Also I didn't think my thoughts through before posting so If ignorance is my issue by all means let me have it.

But if Supreme Court defines porn as "you know it when you see it". That's how I would define this to gambling.

I don't see how it's different than betting lines to games.

Its defined as a game of skill, not chance right? Isn't that the difference?

It bothers me. There is no standard. I see no reason why this is any different from betting on spreads. In fact, this seems more like a pure lottery than traditional betting. Either legalize sports betting altogether or ban it altogether. This gets a game of skill exception, but poker doesn't? bullshite.

It seems like more chance than betting a spread to me.

One of my friends said they get away with it due to some BS about being a skill game, plus there is a finite amount of money to win (sort of like how some corporate sites have NCAA tournament picks contests). They're not like a regular book that can take all kinds of action.

But it's more of a lottery than betting spreads. The accumulation of player's stats versus a game result. If someone predicted the Bills would beat the Colts and Karlos Williams would score a TD, which one sounds like a lucky guess?

Fantasy has been around for 15+ years. Why is it now bet-able? Seems like a long time for this business model to be developed?
