I am very very happy with this draft. I would be curious to know how much Quinn was a factor as Dimitroff hasn't made great draft choices lately and his arse is on the line so thought he would have tried to make a splashy move.

The obsession continues.

With that said, having lived in ATL for a really long time, I am pleased the Falcons didn't get Gurley because I want him to have success.

I love Collins, but I didn't think he was worth a first. Maybe not as high of a 2nd as we picked, but worth a 2nd.

Coleman though? Good lord, that kid is good. Had 2000 rushing yards behind a shitty line, playing with a backup qb and all while having a broken toe. Against similar opponents, he did better than Melvin Gordon. More carries, but also more yards per carry. His average touchdown run was 43 yards. Not sure how you can't be excited about him. Hell, he even put up 132 yards on Michigan State on 15 carries, and their run defense was great.

I'm not too excited about their first two picks. Not sure if either of those guys will be contributors next season. They'll be good players in two years if they continue to develop.

Coleman was an under the radar kinda guy. Didn't get the exposure from being at a power school but still put up great numbers. I think he will surprise some people this season.

I didn't mind the idea of having Freeman and Smith take control of the running game, but I wouldn't be surprised if by midseason Coleman is getting the most carries.

The following will be a super cool story bro:

I use to play pickup basketball/football games with Jalen Collins in High School. He was a super nice kid and of course an absolute freak athlete, whoever' steam he was on was pretty much gonna win

As many weaknesses as the Birds have on both lines, just don't see the value in a guy with multiple drug issues and a RB when we have some decent ones.

I don't disagree with you about Jalen Collins, but picking up Coleman was a must. Smith is not bad and I'm still unsure about Freeman. I really feel like he is a steal in this years draft. He's use to playing behind a shitty line, and he's also good with pass protection so in PA situations Matty Ice can stand somewhat of a chance.
