Ex-49ers defensive lineman Dana Stubblefield has just been charged with raping a mentally disabled woman in 2015 ... and now faces serious prison time.
Officials say 45-year-old Stubblefield -- a 3-time Pro Bowler -- contacted the woman through a babysitter service and had her over to his Santa Clara home for an interview in 2015. But instead of an interview, officials say Stubblefield had sex with the woman -- despite the fact she was "incapable" of giving consent because of a mental disorder and developmental and physical disabilities.
The 31-year-old woman immediately went to police after the alleged incident -- and officials felt there was enough evidence to charge Stubblefield with 5 felony charges.
According to official documents, Stubblefield has been charged with rape by force, rape of a victim incapable of giving consent, oral copulation by force, oral copulation with a person incapable of giving consent and false imprisonment.
Officials also want Stubblefield to submit to an AIDS test.
Santa Clara County Deputy District Attorney Tim McInerny issued a statement saying, "This was a crime of violence against a vulnerable victim. She was looking for a job and she was unconscionably assaulted."
Bail has been set at $250k.
If convicted, officials say he faces a "substantial prison sentence."

Well that's all kinds of fricked up.

He will blame it on the concussions and end up with a class action suit against the league and profit.

as long as he wasn't smoking pot it will be OK

To be desperate enough to rape a fricking mentally disabled woman is just one of the sickest things someone can do. TPOS

But not retarded enough to not call the cops? Competent enough to drive herself alone to his house and then to the police station?
I need to know more here.

Thank goodness she was able to report it if true. Horrible. There are some missing pieces here like the above post wonders though. How can a disabled individual be employed by a babysitting service?

Yeah, very curious the article says she was incapable of granting consent due to her disabilities. Yet she was supposed to be interviewing for a babysitting job?

Let me get this straight, someone you can hire through an agency to care for your children is incapable of giving consent to sex? I'm calling BS until more information comes out.

After reading it again, I figure she probably put an ad on care.com and had no prior screening. I'm confused though.
Did more reading was sitter city.com

And then probably had a family member/care giver notice something was different/wrong and then asked her what happened. Once she told said care giver/family member, they then probably took her to the police. Doesn't really seem too crazy to me

If there was no screening by the service, could that make them liable in some way? I'm confused too.
