And yall think Cajun fans on RaginPagin are delusional (Well, they are but still...)

Dixon>Fournette

ETA: It's a thread from July. Didn't notice it originally. But it's still pretty funny

Not applicable here.

I never thought Jordan Jefferson was better than Cam Newton

This is a preemptive assertion. I told you guys that if our players begin to get more exposure up here, they will not play nice. There is already a generated scoff because our db's are more highly regarded going into the season than those at "DBU". If our rb steals the limelight, it will get ugly. That's the kind of thing that hurts their instate strangle hold, and they have to maintain the assumption that they get the best players.

Honestly though what can they do that the legislature hasnt already done?

I mean, they're right. It's part of the media conspiracy that Kevin Toliver got 5 stars and some 5-8, 165 pound DB from Many got 2.

...and here come the Morris Claiborne responses, right?

I mean, they can be more realistic. I'm a Cajun fan and I love Elijah McGuire. I think he's gonna make it in the pros. But he's not better than Fournette.

I like the guys who say they never heard of Leonard Fournette, despite being sports fans in Louisiana. That's like some doucehbag hipster saying he's never heard a Taylor Swift song.

ok? really doesnt make it that uncommon. im sure we could pull up some threads on basically any forum in the country that had some skepticism about fournette that would look pretty dumb now

that board has been nuts for a long time now.

the way they defended former AD Bruce Van De Velde during 2012 over his multiple cock ups concerning the postponement of the game with A&M and then getting left out of bowl season was high comedy.

100 percent troll, that part. I hope.

They're more like the people who listen to Ryan Adams' 1989 and think that it's the deepest stuff he's ever written.

Dixon is good but he isn't on fournettes level.

That being said tech and ULL will have bragging rights later this year when the play then the winner can officially be LSU's little brother

So you're talking about skepticism about Fournette in the past that looks stupid in hindsight? That's completely different from starting a thread this past week.

Hopefully Fournette's big brother doesn't torch us.

Hell, I was only about 50 percent certain that Fournette was THAT good 3 weeks ago and about 80 percent after the Mississippi State game.

And by "THAT good" I mean Hershel Walker/Bo Jackson/Leonard Fournette good.
