It's not misfortunes or bad luck if it's brought upon by your own actions. This simple statement is so hard to understand by some.

We all out impediments in our way at one point or another; some people, especially those with substance abuse problems, put bigger impediments in their own way.
Overcoming those impediments is adversity. Although it's easier empathize for those that faced adversity outside of their own control.
Regardless, it makes the OP's meme ironic though.

Aldon will always be one of my favorite Mizzou players. But man, he's a great example of how some people cant handle money and fame.

They'll use Smith as an edge rushing OLB, and probably revert to a more conventional 34 defense.
If the Raiders can get their defense to play at an improved level, they'll be in really good shape down the stretch.
