he will. lane knows he won't get a good coaching job staying at bama. he can't prove shite there. he's under saban. but if he turns LSU's offense around then power 5 programs will come knocking within 2 years.

Not following the logic.
Kiffin completely changed Alabama's offense. He won a SEC title with Blake freaking Sims. He won a national championship with Jake Coker. He's in line for another NC and SEC title with a true freshman who can't throw the ball downfield.
Plus, *if* O hires Kiffin, he won't be there long before he's off to his own job. Not a really stable hire at all.

Lane is not getting hired anywhere big in the next 2 years and his stock will not rise at Bama. Just IMO. So if he goes elsewhere and does it again, then his stock rises and he gets a pretty good P5 job and another shot as HC.
