The school has been seeking a new apparel partner since the decision to end its apparel contract with Russell Athletic at the end of its contract in June 2018.
Coaches and athletes have been hopeful that a new apparel provider will be able to help their teams with branding and recruiting, as Russell Athletic was seen as a less desirable brand than Adidas, Nike and Under Armour, which dominate the college athletics apparel market.
Rivals reported the Adidas decision earlier Monday evening.

Bout fricking time! Addidas is hot right now. Plus I hate what Nike does when they are given creative license. Remember that shite the put on UGA for the Boise State game? The disgrace those uniforms match the disgrace of UGAs performance that night.

That was their permanent uniform last year and will be again this year. The stupid honeycomb shite was only one season, although they have worn the white helmet with that design from time to time. The last four years have been fairly traditional in terms of jerseys and pants.

A lot of the Adidas crap is just as bad. If Georgia Tech would go back to what they had in 1999 or 2000 it would be an upgrade.

Most of Adidas' uniforms aren't that hot, but they absolutely killing the shoe game right now with the Ultra Boost collection. Not to mention Yeezy's
