I don't recall a year like this:

No:

Rose
Westbrook (unknown at this point)
Rondo
Amare
Kobe
Granger
Chandler - not even close to 50% (and thats being generous)
Lee
Manu - playing with torn hamstring
Parker - ankles all messed up (not even close to the player he was before March)

And the Heat are 100%. Not hating, but its damn remarkable. I could see them going 16-0 (and no, the Knicks don't have a shot).

Because they are not gonna shoot 40+ % from 3 against the Heat.

The Knicks have no chance against the Heat.

The Knicks took a game from them last year with injuries to Lin, Shumpert, Amare, and freaking Barron Davis...with Mike Bibby running point.

The way Lebron is playing right now, the absence of Rose and Rondo is completely irrelevant.

I think the bigger reason is because they won't get off enough 3pters for it to matter if they do, unless they shoot like 50% for the series. Last year they averaged roughly 23 threes a game, but vs. MIA in playoffs they only shot 18. MIA ramps up their close outs in the post season and turns some of those 3s into long 2s.

Yep, and statistically, long 2's are the worst shot in basketball.

He doesn't see your point because it's not a legit point. MIA was up 3-0. They didn't even show up till the very end of that game. They did the same thing the previous year vs. the Sixers.

Edit: I could see the Knicks taking a game or two. I don't think the Heat go 16-0. I was under the assumption he meant the Knicks had no shot of winning the series. They could easily sneak a game. Any team can.

The Heat would dominate even if those players were 100%

I love this stat. You know who was also 3-1 vs the Heat? The 2011 Celtics. The 2011 Bulls were 3-0 vs the Heat in the regular season too.

Regular season success against a team is not a good indicator of postseason success.
