I'm gonna say basketball. If you're a 7 footer with a heartbeat you have a chance. Oh, and not counting sports like track or weightlifting.

You could probably make a case for any sport. If you have great hand/eye coordination and a nice swing, you can be a fat guy and still rake.

I'd go with basketball though. Mostly bc the route to the pros is quickest over baseball/football and scouting basketball talent is easier in basketball. Nothing gives an NBA scout wood faster than a tall guy with athleticism and length...

Literally 99% of major leaguers have been playing baseball since they were 9 years old that's how long it takes to build the muscle memory

Basketball. You can tell when their are guys in the NBA who are still developing a consistent jumper 3 years into the league. That shite wouldn't fly in any other league.

Definitely football or basketball. Only position's that's a bit of an outlier is qb and pg, pretty much everything else youo could take an elite athlete and make him serviceable in 2-3 years.

Have you guys heard of Brent Petway, Stanley Robinson, Jarvis Varnado? Elite athletes yet can't get out of the D-League

Baseball and its not close. Kung Fu Panda is an all star and he is a fat frick. So is C.C. Basketball requires tons of pure athleticism

He did a lot more than barely make the practice squad. He play some serious minutes and made an impact this past season. He's proof that the answer is probably basketball, went from never playing the game to playing D1 ball in a year.

Definitely football over basketball. Basketball requires more physical ability than any other sport IMO. The combination of athleticism and finesse is not matched.

Look at guys like Jimmy Graham. Couldn't play in the NBA so he decided to go be the best tight end in the NFL instead.

There are several NBA players who could go play in the NFL and no NFL players that could play in the NBA.

nonsense IMO. there are a lot of freak athletes in the NFL

The answer is probably basketball. if you have both enormous size and freak athleticism then you can be a solid NBA player even before you build your skill set.

It is definitely either basketball or football. Baseball requires an immense amount of skill. The difference between amateur and professional baseball is comparable to the difference between my bank account and Bill Gates'. Athletes can transition between football and basketball much easier than they could to baseball on average, as there are always exceptions. Those types of guys are Gonzo, Antonio Gates, Graham, Terrell Pryor, and others. Exceptions being Primetime and Bo could transition to baseball and look what they were in both sports.
