re: Earl Campbell

GOAT RB is more about top tier than one guy. You can make a valid case for a select few and Earl is in that group.

He and Sanders never won a SB due to talent around them or the Steelers in Earl's case. Those were some epic games though.

Will still argue he is the most dominating back during his prime.

Earl was awesome. Met him in Austin a few years back and was surprised at his height. Only about 5-9, 5-10. But truly one of the greatest.

Jim Brown is an obvious choice for GOAT, but, If you ever had the chance to watch Gale Sayers he was great. So was Walter Payton, Too many others to name.

Same with Herschel. Met him in Vegas. Tiny fella but STILL fit as hell.

BTW. Love that Rams gif. That LB wanted no part of "tackling" him. He just stood up higher in hopes of Earl stumbling over him.

Love Earl Campbell.

Of the back Ive seen he's one of the best.

Campbell
OJ
Sanders
Payton

Jim Brown is the GOAT.

The closest runner Ive seen to Earl actually was Ricky Williams in his first few years.

Earl and Jack Tatums hit at the goal line might be the hardest hit in NFL history.

Dickerson, in his prime, needs to be in this conversation

After Jim Brown...It's hard to find anyone better than Bo Jackson when in his prime - 5.4 yards per carry.
