so you are like what, 18?

I'll be 17 in November. It has nothing to do with this, though.

you weren't even alive when shaq played in Orlando, so it really has a lot to do with it.

Actually it does b/c you never saw Shaq on Orlando. Hell, I'm not even sure you knew he was ever on the team since you called Dwight the best big in Orlando history.

Sorry but Shaq is the best big in Orlando history. If his number isn't retired Dwight's shouldn't be either.

Even if Dwight was the best big in Orlando, he shouldnt have his number retired.

Did anyone mention that Harris is wearing 12 as a tribute to a friend that died of leukemia at the age of 17?

A few thoughts
-Dwight probably deserves his number in the rafters in Orlando, but it won't happen for a long while.

the Magic, as of right now, should have the following numbers retired:
32-O'Neal, 1-Hardaway,25-Anderson,4-Scott Skiles,3-Dennis Scott

Nelson if he stays will be up there.

I don't see that happening, infrastructure is too strong and supportive. McHale and Hakeem are naturally his allies. Harden isn't a prima donna. Morey is solid GM. I'm no Dwight fan, but he looks better in H-Town already than he did at all in Lakerland. He's healthier and happier(for now), his passing looks crisp and even his post game looks more fluid. I'm willing to bet he sets a career high in FT% this year too.

Why not? Best big man in Orlando history.

No, He's nowhere close to Shaq. I'm beginning to think that your account is a shared one.

Ron, of course I was joking. And, no, this is not a shared account.

Franchise leader in points, blocks, and rebounds. Three time Defensive POY. Five time First team All-NBA.

If Dwight doesn't deserve his number retired, Orlando might as well stop retiring numbers.
