Is Durant the GOAT? Better finals record than Lebron and 1-1 against him in the finals.

Durant joined an already 73 win team, his performance is the bare minimum of what we should have expected.
James is still the best player in the world.

I'm joking. Lebron was the best player on the floor. Durant was the 2nd best player on the floor with 3x the talent around him.

And the Lebron apologists come out in droves

I know he's a millionaire and couldn't give a shite what us regular folks think.....but he has to spend the rest of his life knowing that the all-time greats will look down on him even if they don't say so publicly. Total bitch move on his part. I bet secretly Curry doesn't even respect him.

How am I an apologist? The dude averaged a triple double in the finals..AGAIN
He did his part. Golden state has the better team.
James is still #1, Durant #2.

What exactly is there to apologize for?

did any lebron fans even expect him to win this series?

Why is it so hard for some people to understand what GOAT means?
Posted on 6/12/17 at 10:56 pm to Mouthulcer
It's obvious he's the difference maker. LeBron drug Delladova and Mozgov through 6 games in the first finals matchup. Then beat the 73 win Warriors. Add Durant and the Warriors win at ease. I don't think adding harden, westbrook, or anyone other than Durant to that team beats a healthy cavs.

I don't think you know what the word means. That's okay little guy.

James will go down as a top 3 or 5 player in NBA history and Durant will be a top 15 player. Neither is tGOAT

And yet the Cavs have the higher payroll and LeBron hand picked almost the entire roster. He's got a team perfect for him, but not good enough to beat this warriors team.

In what universe is 1-1 >>> 3-5?

I was using this as kind of a joke. There is no way you can tell a guy is the GOAT UNTIL THEIR CAREER IS OVER. Lebron could win the next 5 championships and solidify himself or Jimmer Fredette could come back and win guide the Pelicans to a 6 time NBA title run while averaging 49 PPG.
