Durant should sign a one year deal with okc this summer and get his 10th year and then resign longterm wherever in 2017 for a lot more annual money about 11 million more per year

That may happen, doesn't the TV deal revenue kick in?

the cap jumps to 90 million in 2016 and 108 million in 2017: here's a 5 year max with okc would work out each year

2016: 145 million
2017: 205 million

Yea, a one year deal seems like the most likely choice. One more year with Westbrook and make a lot more money

He wouldn't have to sign a long term deal next season if he wanted to go to GS, similar to lebron doing a 2 year deal with Cleveland. That's if he wants to go there

Thought this was gonna be about the Olympics. I loved watching Durant lead that young team to a world championship gold medal in 2010.

Golden State is too good right now to try to add Durant. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Durant will never win the big one anyways.

On a serious note, it looks like GS would have to give up a combo like Barnes, Bogut and Iggy

Wow I hope not. Clearly he benefits from playing with that group of guys kinda like lakers era Trevor Ariza. Great 3 and d 4th option kinda guy. Could Maybe be a 3rd option on a legit team, #2 naw

Yeah. Barnes has never once led the Warriors. Harden very often led the Thunder to wins.

teams have money to spend, 20 million won't even be a max and he's super athletic with incredible potential some team will throw it at him if wes matthews after a serious injury can get 17.5 million and parsons got 15 i think barnes will get more

he can sign with Warriors and enjoy a couple of championships and remember, he's worth millions already. You really can't spend it all if you are not a drug addict and only have one wife. and its not like he won't make more millions with the Warriors.

You're never gonna see a superstar take more than a few percent discount (bosh, Lebron) at the absolute height of their careers. Especially if it's to go to another team.

If I'm one injury away from never playing again, no potential championship is worth leaving 8 figures on the table.
