Not saying he should have been MVP or is the best in the league.

But dude is putting up insane numbers.

33/8/4 (and counting)

I hope this sort of "pushes" LeBron. He's been far too passive in these playoffs imo. Needs to go back into Assertive LeBron like in last years playoffs.

Well, Lebron has only had one game that's really mattered so far, and Durant has been forced to raise his game to keep his team from getting eliminated. Kind of meaningless at this point

Curry is a close second. If he closed that game last night...it would have been a toss up imo.

Their stats are really close with Curry having played better competition. If he has another game like last night in game 2 and they win, I pick Curry.

Especially if OKC loses tonight

He HAS to be assertive on his team now that Westbrook is out

Durant > Curry > LeBron in the playoffs so far.

Curry hasn't missed a single free throw yet, is third in PPG these playoffs, and is leading all playoff players with 9.5 APG. He's taken 67 3 point shots in 7 games and hit 29 of them (43.3%).

Durant is showing that the fools who say LeBron is far and away the best player on the planet are just that: Fools.

Lebron is better, but by the thinnest virgin pubic hair you can find. People want to say LeBron is the best defender in the NBA, but the stats say that Durant was the better defender. LeBron had a higher FG% of course, but you have to account for the fact that he took 47% of his FGAs at the rim while Durant took around 27% of his FGAs at the rim.

Anyways, it will be interesting to see how well Durant performs under pressure and how LeBron responds to losing at home against a severely depleted and outmatched Bulls team.
