I don't necessarily blame them, but what a terrible play call. They had all the momentum though so I would have at least waited until overtime to go for two a la Boise St. vs. OU.

Idk can't go wrong, but I would've kicked the PAT, had all the momentum.

Eh, It would be cooler. They had a chance to make it the greatest 4th quarter in college football history with the walk off.

Exactly that was the dumbest shite ever. He should be on the permanent Come On Man & NOT Top 10 Plays segments on ESPN.

Yeah, they probably win in OT, but I get it. It was a meaningless bowl game on Christmas Eve. They all probably just wanted to get home to their families.

Could the CMU head coach have been any more terrible the entire comeback? His players made it happen in spite of him.

Oh come on, it was an exciting game, huge last play of the game, let em go for 2 and keep the momentum going. I'm sure they aren't hanging their heads after that incredible last play.

It's a low tier bowl game and they had nothing to lose really.

Yes, I'm sure they wanted to get to that Christmas ham more than completing the greatest comeback in college football history, in a bowl game, no less.

I have no problem with them going for two. But to call the fade? Their QB was a fricking master at avoiding any pass rush and buying time. He threw SEVEN touchdown passes. Let him move around and win the game for you.

Yeah it reminded me of OSU-Mich last year. Must be something in the water in that state up north.
